USF Group Training, Personal Training, and USF Group Exercise

usf personal training

In recent years, USF's personal training programs have seen a significant increase in popularity. The FIT Program is a unique program that pairs seniors in the USF Exercise Science program with faculty members and staff. Students assist clients with fitness assessments and develop individual training plans. They also supervise post-assessments to evaluate the results. Maureen Chiodini, a USF instructor says the FIT Program complements USF's course work and provides students real-world experience.

USF students, faculty and staff can avail of the three fitness facilities for only $316/year. Employees and staff members can purchase guest passes or daily passes to the gym. You can view the entire ratecard online. You can even cancel your LA Fitness Membership and just use the campus fitness center. You can find the location and hours of the USF personal trainer program in your local area on the USF website. It will be a great decision.

Campus Recreation is a great place to continue your education if you are interested in becoming a personal coach. Campus Recreation staff will respond to your online request and determine your current physical condition. This will allow them to determine which exercises work best for you. You will be assigned a trainer to start your training sessions. The first session will include a one-hour evaluation of your flexibility, cardiovascular fitness, and strength. After the evaluation, students will be able to exercise with their trainers and set goals for their fitness.

Three gyms are available on the USF campus. All are free for students, faculty, and staff, so there's no reason why you can't find a workout center on campus. The Campus Recreation Center is a great gym and is home to some of Florida's finest amenities. However, USF gyms tend to be very crowded due the large student body. Personal training programs should be flexible enough that they can fit your needs.

Start slowly. It is possible to injure your self if you push too hard during your first session. Start slow and build your intensity slowly.
